AgriTech Africa deployed thousands of soil sensors across rural farms, but their database couldn''t handle the write-heavy workload (over 5,000 writes per second). We migrated their storage layer to TimescaleDB, a time-series database built on Postgres. We then deployed a custom Machine Learning model (TensorFlow) to analyze historical weather patterns and soil acidity to predict crop yields.
